Urgent Update: I'm Still a Human (And Not an AI Short Story Machine)

Story finalés, a Haint Party update, and a dark, funny, and utterly unsatisfying holiday commitment.

Hello!

Just a quick, non-fiction post to let you know that I am, in fact, still a real person. I know, I know…with the sheer volume of stories going up on the schedule, you might suspect I’ve been replaced by a highly efficient, short-story-generating bot. While I appreciate the compliment to my productivity, I can confirm I am still just a slightly caffeinated writer battling the “edit and post” grind!

November Story Update

The story train is chugging along strong through the rest of the month!

  • The Knights of Maenara: This epic will be concluding soon! The final installment is set to drop on November 30th. Get ready for the climax!

  • Haint Party: This ghostly shindig is continuing to unfold. I’m deep in the editing process for the final few chapters, but they are all written! It’s likely this party will spill over into early December, so keep those lights on a little longer.

December’s Anti-Cheer Project: Unsatisfactory Tales for The Holidays

Now for the main event, my small act of rebellion against forced cheer. Forget the cheerful 12 Days of Christmas. This December, I’m committing to writing and posting 12 deeply Unsatisfying Tales for The Holidays over the course of the month.

Unsatisfying?!

These aren’t just frustrating cliffhangers; these are stories designed to leave you with a funny, dark, and uncomfortable feeling. The emotional equivalent of finding a soggy sock in your Christmas stocking. They will span multiple genres, go nowhere fast, and intentionally deny you that warm, fuzzy holiday feeling.

Think of it as the literary version of a slightly burnt gingerbread cookie. I can’t wait to make you feel mildly unsettled!

Thanks for reading, and keep an eye on your inboxes for the next installments of The Knights of Maenara and Haint Party!
